I developed this poster for participants on the University of Brighton Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching to map their experience and development needs against the UK Professional Standards Framework. Could also be used at any level for the Professional Recognition Route to the HEA Fellowships as well. Best printed off in A2 but can be done on six sheets of A4 taped together. Originally created in MS Publisher.

Ten useful things to remember when applying for HEA Fellowship¬ (D1 and D2, Professional Recognition Route)
The following list is ten things I believe it is particularly useful to remember when applying for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, through the Professional Recognition Route. My thoughts are focused particularly on the Associate (D1) and Fellowship (D2) levels though they apply to Senior (D3) and Principal (D4) as well. Here at Brighton it is our aspiration that all teaching staff have, or are working towards, a recognised teaching qualification by 2015, and the HEA’s Professional Recognition is likely to be the main route for more experienced academic staff.

Synopsis of Tennyson's 'The Princess'
This is a detailed part-by-part synopsis of what happens in Tennyson's long poem 'The Princess', keyed to line numbers in the standard text (ie most texts from 1853 on). I prepared this resource to support a shared reading aloud of the poem at Leeds Trinity in June 2014. It is designed to help readers check they have understood the details of the narrative, or (if they do not have time to read the whole poem) find out more about the context for shorter extracts.

Dr. Dacia Viejo-Rose in conversation with artist Tracey Moberly. Presentation of a multi-platform art project initiated by Spain NOW!, visual artist Tracey Moberly and Dr. Dacia Viejo-Rose, University of Cambridge. This project will look at the formation of identity, memory and displacement and commenced in autumn 2013. It is expected that the first results of the three-year-long project will be showcased at Spain NOW! 2014.

Silenciadas y olvidadas. 13 años en la exhumación de fosas comunes en España
Presentación de Jimi Jiménez (arqueólogo, País Vasco) en LSE, Londres, el Jueves 6 de Febrero de 2014.
Desde que tuvo lugar la primera exhumación de una fosa común con metodología científica (arqueólogos, antropólogos, forenses, genetistas…) en la España del año 2000, se ha venido trabajando de manera ininterrumpida hasta hoy, lo que arroja un saldo dramático y estremecedor. A los ojos de cualquier ciudadano que pueda presumir de habitar en un lugar donde son ampliamente respetados los derechos humanos, el hecho de que este coexista con cientos de fosas comunes exhumadas que contienen miles de víctimas en su interior, es un tema escalofriante que no puede ignorarse.
Jimi Jiménez es técnico investigador y arqueólogo en el Grupo de Trabajo para el estudio de desaparecidos y fusilados de la Guerra Civil y del franquismo, dependiente del departamento de antropología física que dirige el profesor Francisco Etxeberria en la Universidad del País Vasco desde el año 2003.
