Seminar outline for HST115: The 'Disenchantment' of Early Modern Europe c. 1570-1770, produced for the 2007 session at the Department of History, University of Sheffield. Includes an exercise on the story of the cat massacre by Nicholas Contat (1730s). In this exercise students are asked to examine the highlighted parts of the story.
