Starting to Study Islam
this is the final report of the project which created the following online resource:
http://arts.leeds.ac.uk/introductiontoislam/
This online resource can be used as a baseline resource – students can be asked to complete the quizzes and activities prior to start of introductory modules. The resource introduces students to key terms and information to assist students in accessing introductory undergraduate texts. The resource can also be used for revision and learning consolidation.
This report identifies some of the challenges involved in the development and review of the resource.
Development of the resource was funded by the HEA ‘Islamic Studies Network’ in 2011-2012.
